declares that the manufactured castings from ZAMAK2, Z430 alloy comply with the requirements for the maximum permitted concentration of cadmium Cd in the metal, specified in Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Annex XVII, point 23 Cadmium, CAS No. 7440-43-9, EC No. 231-152-8 and its compounds comply with the requirements for the maximum permitted concentration of lead Pb in the metal, specified in Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Annex XVII, point 63 Lead, CAS No. 7439-92-1, EC No. 231-10-4 and its compounds.

Zinc alloy castings are corrosion-resistant in weakly acidic and alkaline environments, easily machined, polishable, non-magnetic, not suitable for use in hot steam and at continuous operating temperatures above 120°C for a long time.
Can be surface treated by galvanic plating, chemical dyeing or painting with wet and powder paints.
